I have sent in my
application & fees and all of my real estate course certificates & college
transcripts. When and how do I take the State Exam?
You will be notified by TREC when
your application has been approved and you will be assigned an applicant ID
number. You cannot schedule your exam appointment without your ID number.
License examinations are administered by PSI (Psychological Services, Inc.).
When TREC approves your application, a CIB (Candidate Information Brochure)
is mailed to you within 48 hours. The CIB provides all of the information
and instructions for making a reservation to take the examination. The CIB
also contains study material and instructions about the licensing process.
You may download a copy of the CIB from PSI’s web site at
www.psiexams.com. The exam fee is $59
each and every time you take it, so to save time and money and make sure you
are prepared the first time you take the test!
The examination must be passed within six
months from the date the application is filed with the commission office.
